FAQ

I’m worried we’re awkward in photos. Can you help us pose?


You don’t have to know what to do—I guide you the entire time. I’ll show you simple, flattering ways to stand, sit, and interact, and then give you easy prompts so your smiles and connection feel real, not forced. Think “light direction + natural moments” rather than stiff posing.

What if my kids misbehave or don’t listen?


That’s completely normal and expected. I don’t expect perfect behavior or stiff posing. I guide you into good light and then we play simple games, prompts, and movement that get natural smiles. If someone needs a break, we pause. Some of the best photos come from the in-between moments when kids are just being themselves.

What if the baby won’t sleep / cries the whole time?


Newborn sessions are baby-led. We go at your baby’s pace with plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing. I build extra time into every newborn session so we don’t have to rush. Awake photos are just as special as sleepy ones, and my goal is to capture your baby exactly as they are in this season.

FAQ

What if the weather is bad?


If the forecast looks truly bad (heavy rain, strong winds, extreme cold), we’ll reschedule to the next available date that works for you. For light clouds or overcast skies, we usually go ahead—those conditions actually create beautiful, soft light.

What do we wear?


Every session includes a simple Style Guide that shows you what photographs best for different locations and seasons. It includes color palette ideas, what to avoid, and sample outfits for the whole family. Optionally you can also send me photos of what you’re considering and I’ll help you finalize your choices.

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?


I understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. The editing process typically takes around 1 week, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.  I'll e-mail you a link to where you’ll be able to download high-resolution files.
